Keynote Speaker: Mel Rodrigues, Chief Executive Officer, Creative Access
Mel is an award-winning business leader and media practitioner, with 25 years’ experience in the screen and digital sectors.
Previous to joining Creative Access, Mel enjoyed working in TV across a range of productions and leadership roles, including Creative Diversity Lead at Channel 4, producer of the BBC Digital Cities initiative across the UK and founder of Gritty Talent.
Mel is a proud adopted Bristolian but hails originally from the West Midlands. In her spare time, she’s also the Vice Chair of Women in Film and TV.

Sally Bendtson, Founder, Limelight HR
Sally is all about people, culture, and making HR something to smile about. As the founder of Limelight HR, she’s swapped the corporate world for working with small, creative companies to help them build happier, more engaged workplaces.
Before starting Limelight HR, Sally worked in-house for big names like the BBC, The Guardian, Nickelodeon, and Comedy Central. Now she’s on a mission to show that HR can be as creative as the companies she supports. As the author of The Planager, Sally’s all about bringing joy to the workplace and proving that HR done with heart is key to enhancing creativity and business success.
Daniel Pearl, Creative Director, Lion Television
Daniel is Creative Director at All3 Media’s award-winning Kids & Unscripted production company Lion Television. Before joining Lion, Daniel was a Commissioning Editor at Paramount+, Channel 5 and Channel 4. He has commissioned hundreds of hours of unscripted television ranging from popular factual formats to hard-hitting documentaries. His background is in TV Current Affairs and News – and was Editor of Channel 4’s Dispatches and Deputy Editor of the BBC’s Ten O’Clock News, Panorama and Newsnight programmes.
Martin Tynan, Senior Associate, Lee & Thompson
A Senior Associate in Lee & Thompson's Employment team, Martin advises across the creative sectors on a broad range of employment law matters. Martin offers general HR support to companies and advises individuals on the negotiation of settlement agreements.
Martin joined Lee & Thompson in 2020 from Penningtons Manches Cooper where he gained significant experience working on employment tribunal litigation involving issues of discrimination, whistle-blowing, unfair dismissal and employment status. Before qualifying as a solicitor in 2017, Martin worked as a paralegal at a leading UK film production and distribution company.
Steve Wynne, CEO, Strawberry Blond TV
Steve runs Strawberry Blond TV, named Broadcast’s #1 Best Place To Work (TWICE!) and nominated for Independent Production Company of the Year at the Children’s BAFTAs.
Steve and his team have offices in Glasgow and London producing telly like ‘Love Love Love’ and ‘Clipheads’ for CBBC, ‘The Great British Dig’ and ‘Two Men on A Bike’ for Channel 4, “The Live Lounge Show’ for BBC One and recently launched a new podcast division.
Over the last 30 years, he has worked for indies, channels and international studios including ITV, Disney and Warner Bros. Back in the day, as well as producing Ant & Dec’s SMTV:Live/CD:UK’, Steve was the voice of Chums BUT NEVER TALKS ABOUT IT. Steve is Dad to three amazing humans, and collects radio jingles.
